For our Planet pillar, we created tools that reveal our impact, and an initiative that takes those insights a step further by giving back where it matters, together with clients and partners.
Tchai Product Passport.
The Tchai Product Passport gives a clear view of a product’s environmental performance, including CO₂e, water, recycled content, renewability, and recyclability.
We base the Passport on independent Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) principles, following standards such as ISO 14067-1 and the GHG Protocol. These analyses shape the final result you see in the Passport, but they also guide us much earlier.
During the design phase, we use LCAs to see impact before a product exists, allowing us to adjust materials, weight, and construction where it makes sense. This makes sustainability a practical part of development, not an afterthought.
The Product Passport brings these insights together in a transparent and accessible way. When shared with clients and suppliers, it supports informed decisions and strengthens sustainability as a shared effort, aligned, collaborative, and grounded in real data.
The Woeds.
A forest with roots in our work, and in our future. With our updated Product Passport, clients can still see the full environmental impact of each solution, from build to beyond. What’s new is how we show it: in trees, a clear, relatable way to visualize a footprint.
But we want to go one step further. Not just show the number but give back.
Together with our clients and our manufacturing partners, we plant trees, a collective effort to restore nature. We reforest where much of our wood is crafted, a place we know by heart. Planting is done with care, guided by local rangers.
We call it The Woeds, a nod to wood, and to our own family’s fourth generation, one rooted in the earth, the other in our future. It’s not just an idea, but a real forest. Something you can walk through, touch, and watch grow. The trees we plant won’t stand still forever; some may one day become wood again. It’s not permanence we plant, but purpose.
